Leaving a lasting impression on a weeks worth of fashion was Kimora Lee Simmons' hip hop line Baby Phat. Celebrating their 10th year anniversary, the fashion show was appropriately coined the "Decade Show."

The traffic down the runway consistently screamed disco edge. Wide-leg pants and the high waist took things back a lot farther than the decade they were celebrating. Baby blue denim bell bottoms, thick leather belts, and tons of jumpsuits kept the 70's pleasantly alive. Native American style vests equipped with leather fringes made an unbecoming appearance but nevertheless fit in with the theme of the night.

Ready to wear jersey dresses showed up all over the runway. Shades of tangerine, mint green, and purple made the collection pop in what was predominantly a neutral color palette. Safari inspired patterns were seen on flared jumpsuits and belted vests. Oversized backpacks, bold jewelry, and headbands accessorized the collection.

Most talked about was the short, bronze, sequined dress with the oversized belt acting as its accomplice. After 10 years, Baby Phat has officially transitioned from street fashion to runway sophisticate.
