"She is the Native Heart, she is all neon light, she is a love child. She is a Wildfox" states Los Angeles based clothing line, Wildfox Couture about their feminine, innocent, flirty collections. Calling themselves a "knitwear brand", Wildfox Couture focuses on womens hoodies and t-shirts, and this season is expanding to create a children's collection, "Little Fox".
The brand is owned by childhood friends Emily Faulstich and Kimberly Gordon who work out of a studio in hipster capital, Silverlake, CA. Wildfox Couture has gained quite a following of celebrities and fashion forward youth across the country, and the world, with the help of CEO and President, renowned saxophonist Jimmy Sommers. Wildfox Couture has been featured in dozens of magazines and spotted on the backs of Madonna, Liv Tyler, Megan Fox, Alessandra Ambrosio, and many more Hollywood actors, singers, and models.
Staying true to their roots, in their Fall 2009 collection, Wildfox Couture introduces cozy, tri-blend tees referencing Los Angeles, Malibu, and other California hot spots.
The look book for the collection is available on their website, www.wildfoxcouture,com, and modeled by two young blondes sporting fake fangs, red lips, dark nails, and vintage clothing and accessories.
Though Wildfox Couture looks essentially like lounge wear, to go from housewear to high fashion, add a wide leg 70s jean, retro shades, or a leather jacket does the trick, as shown in collection photos.
