I came across this fan video of "Mogwai - The Sun Smells Too Loud" and instantly recognized where the footage came from...Tommy Seebach's legendary disco-kitsch "Apache" music video, the very definition of 'cocaine is a hell of a drug' caught on film.
But leave it to trippy smoked-out Mogwai fans to take that nonsense and cut it up to "The Sun Smells Too Loud". Then leave it said fan to actually make it work pretty damn well. Where "Apache" is amazing for it's sheer insanity, this fan cut of Mogwai actually comes off as pretty fun and uplifting.
