Dimensional Holofonic Sound (DHS) released this classic during the early days of the modern rave scene back in 1989. It quickly took on a life of its own, being remixed to death and becoming one of the iconic tracks of the 90's club scene.

There were so many remixes in fact - and the track was such an acid smash - that there were rumors of entire multi-hour sets where nothing was played but variations of this track.

Unofficial history of the track goes back to The Limelight nightclubs in NYC and London, both of which were located in former churches...hence, "The House of God". Considering the debauchery of those spots, it's no wonder they could get away with multi-hour "House of God" sets.

Speaking of that era, read up on our interview with Larry Tee who was a major promoter of the day, along with the Club Kids and other NYC legends.
