Pa:nuu is a streetwear line from Denmark that focuses on bold color choices, blocky patterns, and high contrast styles. They most definitely take a nu-rave / 80's influence into their designs, and if there's one single word to describe their color and line choices it would be 'inorganic'. There are no curves, no natural colors, and no natural color combinations in their fall / winter line.
Not sure where to get this stuff in the states, but they did exhibit at the (capsule} show in New York so I would hope there's a distributor out here. If you know of any leave a note in the comments section.

Useless is absolutely not a word you would use to describe Danish pa:nuu. pa:nuu is actually everything but an ordinary example of how to start a business. pa:nuu has in less than two years, rapidly spread across the globe with a clothing range for both sexes and is now represented in more than 15 countries. pa:nuu i s not based on analysis, market research, color scales, trend boards or the likes therof. On the contrary pa:nuu was born out of love for simple but porwerful graphic expressions and prints. The people behind pa:nuu are Jacob Hoilund and Cathrine Nielsen both from Kolding, Denmark. Together they are the foundation in this young company which introduced its first collection in early summer 2006. Since then more employees and a lot more customers have joined. Amongst others TOPSHOP UK who launched their first ”pa:nuu for TOPSHOP” collection in April 2007.
