Prophet Streetwear Apparel Brand

By now your closets are filled with limited edition streetwear tees and sneakers you've bought over time with a small amount of outerwear specially designed to go with them all. Prophet, a premium streetwear line based out of New York is going to bring you much more variety by offering their cut & sew collection. Started by good friends, Matthew Pantoja and Rob Norman, the brand is in the hands of people who really know the inside business and art of Streetwear. Both have impressive backgrounds. Matthew has worked for New Era, Triple 5 Soul, and Royal Elastics while Rob has designed for Nautica, Reebok, Phat Farm, and was the Art director at Grey Advertising.

They are debuting their Spring 2008 Collection at the upcoming Magic Trade Show the end of August. The spring collection is called "Theme Day", based on - the lineage between the globalism of our subculture and the 'globalism' of the Olympics. We are looking forward to this collection and are excited to see what they're up to. To get an idea of their pieces, look at the images below. It's part of their "soft launch" Holiday 2007 Collection.

The baseball jacket (pictured above) is reversible, one side is an air-mesh layered over a print and the reverse side is silk.

This velour jacket (pictured above) is air-mesh lined, the stripes pieced together with repeat logo embossing on the hood.

This is reinterpretation of a classic baseball jacket (pictured above) with some Asian inspiration. Since the Olympics are taking place in Beijing the spring line is based on the theme of the Olympics.
