Givenchy Jelly Gladiator - Throwback of the Season!

Remember when you were a little girl, running around in those jelly sandals? They were clear, squishy, and most of all, cheap. Times have changed, and when Marc Jacobs churned out jelly gladiator sandals last year, everyone was a little stunned. They were cute, and while they boasted a hefty price tag, the frenzy began. This year, Chanel has come out with a glittered jelly sandal, adorned with a giant plastic flower and all, but the real star is Givenchy’s take on the old classic.

Utilizing the ultra-trendy silhouette of the moment (the gladiator sandal), the French fashion house took things a step further by marrying the design with the rubber material. Available in white, pink, and black, the shoe has the subtle Givenchy logo up front, and a side-buckle closure.
