Taking over the streets! I knew it was happening today (04/27/07) but had no plans to join in. I was leaving Manora's, IMO the best Thai restaurant in SF, when I saw the crowd riding about a block away. I chased them down and joined up at Van Ness and Market, then went through parts of the Castro, Hayes Valley, Lower Haight, Upper Haight, all through Golden Gate Park, then back down Haight almost all the way back to Market.

Since I basically ditched Ivy to ride around for an hour I dropped off at this point...but not before snapping off some pictures. I did what I could with a cell phone while riding a bike in a huge crowd, but I don't think my pics really do justice to the scale of 10,000 people on bikes with some towing PA systems and blasting music.
