Fumiya Tanaka will perform a 3 hour techno set in his first U.S. appearance at Bay Area Beatdrop's Filter-SF event, held at Fat City in the South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood of San Francisco.

Opening for Fumiya Tanaka are DJs: Saya (Tokyo, Japan), Kontakt (Montreal/Bay Area Beatdrop) and Solekandi (Bay Area Beatdrop) premiering unreleased material by experimental, minimal techno labels: Foundsound, Archipel and Alphahouse.

The evening will also feature a live visual performance designed exclusively for the show by new media artist Mike Creighton (see mikecreighton.com), who is known for VJing Alphahouse's reputed monthly minimal techno parties in St. Louis.
