Waistcoats, mesh t-shirt dresses, and flattering slouchy silhouettes inundated the runway in traditional Y-3 hipster-esque fashion. Well tailored officer coats and form fitting jockey-style pants detailed with oversized pockets offered an equestrian meets pedestrian theme. This military/ athletic inspired spectacle was transparent in the infusion of the infamous Adidas triple strip within the collection. This of course was homage to the 60th anniversary of Adidas and Y-3's unbinding love for ultra cool kicks. The color palette was persistently rich and dark with triple-stripe details sporadically placed throughout. Millinery genius took center stage as most get-ups were coupled with simple athletic style caps or debonair hats. Considering Y-3's determined minimalism, it's these additions that made the collection pop.
