Hard to believe we've been doing this for almost five years! Grooveeffect first launched on 9/11/2005, maybe not the best day for a launch but hey, we were excited to get it up and didn't want to wait to push the go button :-)
The site has taken us many places, from all over Austin during SXSW to NY Fashion Week (and Miami & SF Fashion Weeks) to WMC and pretty much every venue in SF. We've met a lot of cool people along the way and are always looking forward to meeting more. We've had great writers come and go, and even kept on after one of our co-founders moved on.
Over the next few months we'll be doing a series on where we've been and where we're going. We're going to profile those who have been a part of our journey along the way, as well as the things that we feel make SF such a great place to be.
Look forward for what's to come, we can't wait!
Can't believe Grooveeffect has been up and running for almost 5 years! We come a long way since the beginning. Covered so many great shows, met so many amazing musicians and djs, and made a lot of friends along the way in this industry in the process.
