Copy has bubbled up in my Pandora playlist from time to time, and I've been loving his tracks. I finally took the time to dig up the dirt on the non-cut Copy and see what this lo-fi sound is all about.
In a similar vein to other PDX acts we've featured (Natalie Portman's Shaved Head & Easter Egg), Copy seems to be influenced by 80's kitsch, old video games, and a generally experimental, sequencer-happy sound.
His most recent release, 'Hair Guitar', actually came out nearly two years ago, but if you haven't had a chance to check it out I recommend doing so.
