I've been loving this album lately, thought I'd share. Metronomy is an electro group out of the UK and their latest release, "Nights Out", has been occupying my playlist quite a bit lately.
With Nights Out, Metronomy mixes quirky, sometimes chorus-like vocals with heavy synths and an indie rock aesthetic to create a playful, mildly experimental sound. Songs vary from danceable to mellow, and the album makes use of a huge variety of different sounds and instruments making for a lot of sonic variety from song to song. Definitely give it a listen.
